Why owner-operators choose Luna Labs

Built like we're putting our name on it. Because we are.

A commercial wrap is half material, half install. Get either one wrong and the wrap peels in a year. We don't cut corners on either.

01

Cast-film vinyl. Not calendared.

3M, Avery, and Oracal cast films only. Cast lasts 5–7 years; cheap calendared vinyl peels in 12–18 months. There's no in-between.

02

Edge-sealed, every panel

Corner lift is the #1 wrap failure point. We seal every edge with a primer-bonded laminate so your wrap stays put through pressure washes and weather.

03

Installed in our shop. Not subbed out.

Your truck never leaves our lift. The installer who started the job finishes it. Climate-controlled bay, in-house print, in-house QC.

04

Workmanship warranty in writing

Lift, bubble, or edge fail in the first 12 months from our install? We re-do it. No invoice, no argument. The warranty leaves with the keys.

Anatomy of a Luna Labs wrap

Four things a wrap needs to actually last.

Most wrap complaints — peeling corners, fading, bubbles — come down to skipping one of these four. Here's what we don't skip.

01 · Material

Cast-film vinyl

3M IJ180Cv3, Avery MPI 1105, or Oracal 970RA. Cast film conforms to compound curves and lasts 5–7 years outdoors. Calendared vinyl warps in months.

  • 3M / Avery / Oracal certified
  • Air-release adhesive
  • Matte, satin, gloss, or chrome

02 · Print

Solvent-cured graphics

Eco-solvent ink, ICC color-managed, lab-calibrated for UV stability. We print and laminate in-house so your file never leaves our shop.

  • ICC color profile per material
  • 3M / Avery overlaminate
  • UV-stable for 5–7 yrs outdoor

03 · Install

Edge-sealed, panel by panel

Vehicle pre-clean, surface prep, dry then wet pass per panel, post-heat at 200°F to lock the adhesive. Every edge sealed with primer.

  • Climate-controlled install bay
  • Post-heat cure on every panel
  • Edge-seal at every corner

04 · Finish

Inspection & warranty

Owner walk-through before drive-out. Care guide in writing. Workmanship warranty in writing. If a panel fails in year one, we re-do it.

  • Final QC walk-through
  • Written care guide & warranty
  • Free post-install touch-up at 30 days

Walk-through, care guide, and a wrap warranty. You're back on the job.

Frequently asked

Questions we get every week.

How long does a commercial wrap last?

With cast-film vinyl and edge-sealed laminate, expect 5–7 years on most surfaces — longer for garaged trucks. Materials are warrantied up to 10 years.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

No — installed properly on factory paint in good condition, vinyl actually protects the paint underneath. We don't wrap repainted, oxidized, or damaged panels without disclosure first.

How much does a wrap cost?

Partial wraps start around $1,500. Full commercial wraps on a standard service truck average $4,000–$5,500 depending on vehicle size, coverage, and finish.

Can I bring my own design?

Absolutely. Send us print-ready artwork and we'll size and prep for production. No design? We'll mock one up that matches your brand and route signage rules.

How long is the truck out of service?

Most single-vehicle installs are 3–5 business days. We schedule around your busy season and offer evening/weekend drop-offs.

What happens when I sell the truck?

Cast-film wraps come off cleanly with controlled heat. Wrap removal is typically a half-day service — and the paint underneath stays mint.
